Modern Plague Tea Skirt – The “A Modern Plague: An Ode to 2020” print is made up of a series of watercolour paintings that I hand painted myself, incorporating elements from the plague of 1820 and the pandemic of 2020. These prints include a Raven Skull, Antique Hand Sanitizer Bottle, A Pin Up in a Pandemic and Wash Your Hands. These were then digitized and I created a seamless print from them, and printed onto fabric.
If you love the artwork, I also have A4 prints available for purchase here
Pre-orders will close on Sunday the 11th of July 2021. Skirts will start shipping from Thursday the 29th of July 2021.

My Tea Skirts are 65cm in length which fall to below the knee or mid calf, depending on your height.
Modern Plague Tea Skirt is fully lined, has deep side pockets, perfect for snacks, a 5cm waistband and a chunky back zip. All my waistbands have elastic insets to allow for perfectly normal human things like weight fluctuation or food babies.
Full circle skirts or fit-and-flare (also known as skater) skirts are very elegant and a classic silhouette that can be worn all year around. A full skirt is a polished enough look for a tucked-in blouse, but casual enough for our favorite tee, you can match these skirts with sandals, with boots, flats, sneakers, heels, etc.
For a more casual look, you could pair your Modern Plague Tea Skirt with a t-shirt tucked in, and lace-up boots or ballet flats. To make the outfit more refined, pair the skirt with heels and stockings, or loafers, and a button up blouse. But really, the choice is yours to style it however you deem fit!
